Constructing Supply Change LLC was launched in early 2020 to fill a need particularly pressing to the Capital Project and Construction Industries: Improving the performance of projects by removing stubborn inefficiencies related to Supply Chain. We feel that Supply Chain (both the Function and the Process) needs to be fine-tuned, elevated, amplified, and to fully embrace data-driven technology and methodologies.
CSC is performing successful engagements with clients of all kinds: Equipment/Material Manufacturers and Suppliers, Power Utilities, Software Solution Providers, EPC Contractors, and Consultancy Partners for teaming engagements.
Jeff Houtz, PMP, has led Procurement and Supply Chain teams on worldwide projects of all sizes (small through mega), in the energy and chemicals downstream, upstream, pipeline, and offshore segments, power, mining, government, and operations and maintenance markets. As well, he has served in strategic executive staff roles across and over all aspects of Supply Chain, including Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Material Planning, Field Material Management, Supplier Alliances and Partnerships, Systems, and Quality. He believes in combining modern technology and data strategies, with back-to-basics training and common sense…and a strong emphasis on good old-fashioned positivity.
Jeff is an active professional member of the Project Management Institute, as well as the Institute for Supply Management. He remains a working member of the Construction Industry Institute's Supply Chain Community for Business Advancement, and continues to guest lecture at the University of Texas, the University of Houston, and Texas A&M University. He is a contributor to Engineering News-Record and the American Welding Society's Welding Journal, on issues related to Supply Chain.
